Only for plain images like a signature on white. Without it we use a colour profile, then invisible padding.

What it does
- Enter the width and height, then the file-size rule: under, around, or between.
- We cut the picture to that exact shape (crop or fit inside), then search for the best quality that lands safely inside your KB range.
- If the pixel size is fixed and the limit can’t be met, we say so rather than pretend.
Examples
| You enter | You get |
|---|---|
| 200 × 230 px, 20–50 KB | The IBPS photo size. Our verified IBPS pages use this same engine. |
| 140 × 60 px, 10–20 KB | A typical signature size. Tick the faint-grain option under Advanced for a plain white signature image. |
| 600 × 600 px, under 240 KB | A square photo with a ceiling. |
If it isn’t working
- It says it can’t get under the maximum.
- The pixels are fixed, so a very small limit on a detailed picture can be impossible. Raise the limit, or ask the portal whether a smaller pixel size is allowed.
- The picture was too small for the minimum.
- A plain image can be naturally lighter than a minimum. We raise it with a colour profile, then (only if allowed) faint grain, then invisible padding, and list what we used. If a portal rejects that, tell us in the “did it work” question.
- Edges are cut off.
- Crop to fit cuts the picture to the shape. Choose Fit inside to keep everything and add a background colour.
- Do I need a DPI too?
- Add it under Advanced (JPG). It is written into the file and re-checked.
