What it does
- Choose your image. PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and AVIF are read; so is JPG.
- Pick the colour behind transparent areas (white by default) and, if you like, a quality or KB limit.
- We convert and re-check the result is really a JPG.
Examples
| You enter | You get |
|---|---|
| Screenshot.png | A JPG, often much smaller than the PNG. |
| Logo.png with a transparent background | A JPG on white (or a colour you choose). |
| Photo.webp | A JPG any portal will read. |
If it isn’t working
- My iPhone photo is a HEIC.
- HEIC isn’t supported yet. In Photos, share it as JPG or set Camera → Formats → Most Compatible, then choose it again.
- The JPG is bigger than I want.
- Open “Quality and size limit” and set a KB limit, or use Compress Image.
- The background isn’t white.
- Pick another colour under “Behind transparent areas”.
